Your blood type is inherited in your genes. There are eight blood types with O+ and A+ being the most common.

Tips & Links

  • Very few people know their blood type but if you do, make a note of it in your health profile.
  • Be aware that your blood is crossed and type-matched by a lab to determine your blood type before you receive a transfusion.
