Our Project

Mywell Health Inc. is a social purpose entity, registered and incorporated in B.C. We operate as a philanthropic community that donates our time, expertise, and experiences to enhance health literacy and assist individuals in navigating health and related systems to lead their ‘best lives’. We are doing this by creating tools that reduce barriers and improve access to information and services.

Our Vision

Our vision is that all individuals in B.C. make informed decisions regarding their health and well-being throughout their lives.

Our Mission

Our mission is to encourage learning and informed decision making by bridging the gap between people and the wealth of well-curated health information available in B.C. We aspire to achieve our mission by:

• Creating health planning tools and resource kits to promote health literacy and self-advocacy throughout the lifespan (Seniors (65+), Adults (25-65), and Children & Youth (to 24 yrs of age) and their parents.
• Building a community by partnering with individuals who want to share their knowledge, expertise and/or lived experiences.
• Connecting with existing evidence and research based provincial websites and resources.
• Prioritizing respectful design principles that encompass privacy, security, flexible navigation, opportunities for input and feedback, inclusion, diversity, and accessibility.
• Reaching out to provincial health authorities, schools of practice, and practitioners for collaboration opportunities related to education, research, and evaluation.
• Expanding Mywell Health to include tools and resources for individuals across Canada.

Our Community

Mywell Health community members generously share personal journeys of either living with chronic health conditions or assisting those facing health challenges. Our diverse community includes health care professionals and experts from various fields who strive to create a positive impact through sharing stories, knowledge, skills, and experiences as well as ongoing feedback.

As we expand our reach, Mywell Health Inc. is actively seeking partnerships with individuals, institutions and/or organizations possessing knowledge, expertise, and lived experiences to foster a collaborative environment that enriches our tools and resources as well as our collective understanding.
