After the outbreak of Covid-19, a series of vaccinations were produced (and are continuing to be developed) to decrease your risk of getting a covid-19 infection and/or reducing your symptoms should you get infected.

- Seniors, people with health conditions or autoimmune diseases, as well as infants and toddlers, are more likely to experience more severe symptoms if they contract COVID-19. Talk to your physician and have a plan for covid vaccinations and treatment.
- Learn about covid-19 vaccinations, booster shots, testing, mask wearing, and hand-washing to make informed decisions for yourself from the BC Centre for Disease Control.
- Stay informed about current recommendations from your local health authorities, recognizing that as the situation evolves, these recommendations may change, and new vaccines may become available.
- In BC, non-medical information about COVID-19 is available 7:30am-8pm, 7 days a week by phoning 1-888-COVID19 (1-888-268-4319).
- Know that you can get your influenza vaccine and covid -19 booster at the same time. Check your local health unit online to book an appointment.
- You can get your updated vaccination record through your Health Gateway BC account.
