A Compass Card in BC is a contactless smart card used for fare payment on public transit systems, including buses, SkyTrain, SeaBus, West Coast Express and HandyDART.

Tips & Links

  • Plan how to stay active and connected by using public transit.
  • Learn about TransLink(bus and Skytrain service in Vancouver and the lower mainland) or HandyDART  (a door-to-door shared ride service for people with physical or cognitive health conditions).
  • Learn how you can use your Compass Card to pay for your HandyDART rides.
  • People over 65 or needing assistance and their caregivers can get discounts with your HandyCard or a Concession Compass Card.
  • If you are registered with HandyDART and it is not available in your community, you may be able to use taxi services who accept TaxiSaver vouchers.
