  • The BC Services card includes your personal/provincial health number (PHN) and is needed to access health and other government services in the province of BC.
  • Learn how to get a BC Services Card for identification if you do not have a driver’s licence.
  • Know that your BC Services Card is needed to access your Health Gateway BC account which maintains your health information from a variety of sources.
  • Learn about Health Gateway BC as it collects information on blood and lab tests and results, medications, vaccinations records, hospital summaries, test reports, and organ donor registration from various health care providers and facilities in BC. Things You Can Do

  • Find out the different types of BC Services Card available and how to get them from the Government of BC.
  • Set up your BC Service Card online, in person, and on a mobile app from the Government of BC. You need 2 pieces of government-issued identification such as a BC driver’s license, permanent resident card, work permit, student permit, or temporary resident permit. One ID must include a photo.
  • Know you can set up your BC Services card in person at a BC driver licensing office by booking an appointment in advance.
