A will is a legal document that outlines where or to whom you want your personal possessions and estate to be left. It can also include your wishes for your remains and/or a memorial.
Tips & Links
- Wills allow you to specify how you want your assets, including property, money, and personal belongings, to be distributed among your beneficiaries.
- You need to designate an executor in your will to oversee the distribution of your assets and ensure that your wishes are carried out at your end-of-life. This person will handle the administrative and legal aspects of your estate. You may designate more than one person to help execute your will.
